Bholu Paswan was first elected as Mayor of Chas Municipal Corporation in 2015 and served with distinction until 2020. During his first term, he transformed Chas into one of Jharkhand's most progressive cities - working relentlessly
to develop infrastructure, improve civic amenities and uplift the quality of life for every citizen. Under his visionary leadership, Chas took significant strides towards becoming a Smart City — with improved roads, better drainage systems, enhanced street lighting, cleaner public spaces and stronger civic administration.
